Why is it that we can hear him so much better at lent?
Why is he the scent in every room, every still moment?
Why is he the pull, the cord, the urge to walk on water?
Eternities ripples “still” as glass, why is he the thing that flood’s into your soul?
At Lent, we wait for the explosion of god’s plan.
The explosion that whispers in a billion souls through eternity.
The disturbance he ever caused, never fades, the enormity becomes more.
I love you SO much lord, but never the way you loved me.
